Most of my life has been spent in the study of life. Traditionally earning an MBA and a MA in Counselling Psychology and through many nontraditional paths as a yoga teacher, an art therapist, a horse owner with horse therapy training, celtic shamanism, reiki, and, most importantly, through the path of creative expression. Most of my life has been spent in the study of life. Traditionally earning an MBA and a MA in Counselling Psychology and through many nontraditional paths as a yoga teacher, an art therapist, a horse owner with horse therapy training, celtic shamanism, reiki, and, most importantly, through the path of creative expression. The creative ablility of the unconscious, as described by C. G. Jung, is especially relevant to me. And the symbolic life. I love to try to communicate the many wonders, visible or hidden, of this life. Now my art is online and my creations can be purchased as originals, or wall print design items and home decor items. I enjoy working with many different visual mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor and collage. I try to work with the medium or the form that best suits the expression. I also include writing in some of my art pieces to combine the written message with the visual art. Whether it is art or poetry, I like to work my hands as I believe anything handmade has a unique beauty and life to it.

I have been fascinated with our connection to the natural world for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent hours roaming the northern woods of Deep River, Ontario. I am inspired by the many complex. beautiful and sometimes hidden experiences that happen when we connect with the natural world, and what it means to us personally
I have been fascinated with our connection to the natural world for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent hours roaming the northern woods of Deep River, Ontario. I am inspired by the many complex. beautiful and sometimes hidden experiences that happen when we connect with the natural world, and what it means to us personally - our unique reaction to the presences of other forms of consciousness, both within and without. The noble equine, an animal with a long connection to humans, has been in my life for years and horses are one of my favourite presences to paint. I guess you could say I am a noticer - of nature and human nature. I want to gently challenge the viewer to notice and to be aware of their own personal connection.
